Our lead (and only) software developer is an Earthling. He was born and raised in Guyana, where he attended preparatory and grammar/high schools, and underwent his initial professional training. Then, he spent the next sixteen years in the USA, where he received his higher education and further professional training. He briefly returned home in late 2000, while pursuing an opportunity to work on the African Continent (specifically, in South Africa). In early 2002, he (and his two cats) left for South Africa to take up a teaching post in Computer Science at Wits University in Johannesburg, where he spent the next three years or so. It was in many ways a wonderful and eye-opening experience, and he was blessed with many vibrant and enthusiastic students. :-) As
of May 2005, he is now once again back home in
Guyana, for the foreseeable future. His CV /
